It helps delay and slows down the progression of the disease of people who are already experiencing early stages of Alzheimer’s. According to a research, curcumin helped break the plaque formation that occurs in the brain. Plaque is an indication of the degree of the diseases. Thus, the more plaque is formed the worse the condition already is. Curcumin helped slowed down plaque from forming to slow down the progress of the disease as well.

There have been many research studies already that prove the great benefits a person can get from this substance. Curcumin was found to help enhance memory and has brain-boosting effects to people who have this in their diet.
